Welcome to a couple of new editors

Belated welcomes to a couple of new editors — Caitlin Row, at the Tahoe Daily Tribune, and Henry Kingman, at Winnemucca Publishing — who have been on the job for about a month now.

A Wisconsin native, Row was working for Swift publications in Colorado when she moved to South Lake Tahoe, which is also a Swift paper.

“I’ve made a steady march westward over the years, primarily due to an avid interest in recreation, tourism and America’s western culture. South Lake Tahoe is a beautiful next step, and it’s a location I love to call home.”

Henry KingmanIn Winnemucca, Kingman will be leading the Humboldt Sun, Lovelock Review-Miner and Battle Mountain Bugle.

He’s a native of Paradise Hill and Lowry High School graduate who worked in the Bay area before returning to the home range.

“I love these towns. They are my home,” he wrote in a recent column. “Above all, I aim to ensure we have the best damn news coverage possible.”
