Review-Journal to add View pages to Thursday editions

The Las Vegas Review-Journal announced today it will will incorporate its View neighborhood newspapers into its Thursday editions beginning July 26. Two pages of zoned local news will appear in the Review-Journal’s Life section every Thursday.

View neighborhood news, including local crime maps and an overview of area road work, will be zoned to deliver local news encompassing Southern Nevada with View Summerlin/Centennial Hills; View North Las Vegas/Downtown; View Henderson/Southeast; and View Southwest/Spring Valley.

“This marks a significant expansion of local news coverage as the Review-Journal brings a focus to these four distinct Valley communities,” Review-Journal Publisher and Editor J. Keith Moyer said. “As we have expanded national and international coverage with our daily Washington, Nation and World pages, so too will we deliver expanded local news of and for these thriving sections of the greater Las Vegas community.”

Beginning July 25, the Review-Journal also will launch Desert Deals, a new publication for Southern Nevada residents. The Desert Deals weekly Wednesday insert will feature sales, coupons and special advertising inserts along with adoptable pet highlights and puzzles. Desert Deals will be distributed every Wednesday in the Review-Journal and to residents across the Las Vegas valley and surrounding areas.
