Now an emeritus faculty member, Professor Bob Felten taught and mentored students in the Reynolds School of Journalism for nearly 30 years.
He served on the boards of the American Marketing Association and the American Advertising Federation, advocating for progress within the industry and acting as a bridge between these organizations and the University.
The scholarship was established by John E. Brodeur ’72 (journalism) and other generous donors who gave gifts through the Bob Felten Scholarship Crowdfund Nevada campaign to honor Felten’s years of service.
The scholarship will be awarded to students pursuing a degree in journalism with an emphasis on strategic communication.
