From 1947-1957, Ingram was “Mr. Everything” at the weekly Fallon Standard – reporter, assistant editor, advertising manager and administrator of the paper’s commercial printing operation. He helped the newspaper’s owners make it a premier newspaper.
The graduate of the University of Montana also was a secretary-manager of the Nevada Press Association from 1957-1960. Ingram later ran a one-man printing company in Reno for 33 years.
